Billy Logsdon was a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and made his career performing as a Half-and-Half and Female Impersonator. He was variously billed as both "Half-and-Half" Louis-Louise, and as singer/dancer, Pinky Pepper. And as the full-sized body in the gaff of "Margarette Clarke."

In the beginning of the 1941 season Billy was reported appearing under the name Pinky Pepper in The Billboard:

"After an absence of four years... [Pinky Pepper] is back with Sickels' United Shows, presenting her Harlem Show and Monkey Girl illusion."
