She was both a Circassian Woman and also a Sword-Swallower. There is an earlier image (catalogue #2253) of her as just a Circassian where her name is spelled with an extra "r"-- is this the same performer? According to The New York Clipper, she appeared in New York at The Harlem Museum November 25-30, 1889 and January 6th-11th 1890, and at The Gaiety Musee (or Gaiety Museum) the week of April 28-May 3rd 1890. And the Week of September 21st-26th, 1891 at Huber's Palace Museum.
