Three Ball Charlie

One of the most well-recognized faces from the iconic Rolling Stones album "Exile On Main Street," Charlie, if that was his real name, is virtually unknown otherwise. The myriad internet sites which claim he is from Humboldt, Nebraska, are all unattributed to any primary source. In most of the images of Charlie he hold three balls in his mouth-- a tennis ball, a golf ball, and a billiard ball. One photo of the performer shows him in a sideshow grouping from a store show displaying the surprising fact that he only had one leg and wore a pegleg.
