Carl Lauther was a promoter and side show owner that is perhaps most famous for introducing the famed performer Percilla “The Monkey Girl” to the world of sideshows. In this very rare photo we have the typical “Store Show” set-up in an Atlanta location in the early-mid 1920’s. This was essentially a traveling dime museum that rented space in vacant stores as it went from city to city.
