Robert Tipney "The Living Skeleton"

Unusual 1870's English pitchcard printed on heavier tan cardstock, which features an extraordinary image of Mr. Tipney that outdoes any exaggeration on a sideshow banner…...….In 1872, Robert Tipney exhibited himself at the Barnstable Fair as "The Human Skeleton." He also later appeared with Chipperfield Circus, one of the premier circuses of 19th Century England.
