Armless Man Tintype

Sixth-plate tintype of familar-looking, but unknown armless man sitting for the studio portrait. Has a leg crossed over his knee, his coat buttoned, and he wears a wide-brim hat. Personal portrait rather than show portrait, as he displays no fancy foot-work. Brown tin back, rather than black tin back indicates this is a later, possibly 1890's image.
