Ann E. Leak (1885)

Cabinet Card. Ann is seen here in this EISENMANN studio pose with a pair of scissors in her foot, and three embroidery pieces-- one a Masonic piece and the other two crosses. Her dress is very stylish, with velvet fluff pieces at the collar and breast. On verso: Autographed "Expect not to pass through life without a mixture of good and evil. Ann E. Leak Thomson, Born without Arms, December 23, 1839, Georgia. Minneapolis, Minn, Dec 26, 1885."
