Jolly May
Jolly May, aka , Louis Hall, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In January 1920 The Billboard reported that "Jolly May won first prize as being the prettiest fat girl, among ten others in Worchester, Mass," and that she was then in Ted Metz's Store Show in New Bedford. Later that year she was with L.J. Heth Shows, as "Jolly May and Her Congress of Fat People," with manager S. Adje. Also on the same show was "Armless Painter" Jack Huber's Big Circus Side Show.
