Unidentified Legless One-Armed Motorcycle Rider With His Dog

Printed Photo Postcard. Wearing a newsboy-style cap, and suit, the subject drives a modified motorcycle, and a legend shows the different parts of the bike. His Boxer dog rides in the sidecar. Oddly, neither this card nor its companion card (#3535) include the subject's name. Mentions that car was built for subject by Barney Oldfield, an American pioneer automobile racer. The card is postmarked 1918. On verso: "LEGLESS ONE-ARM DRIVER On a tour of U. S. A. Mileage traveled up to October 1, 1917-17,987, States visited-27.
