Cat Show with Signor Giovanni's Performing Flock of Canary Birds

Terrific program for Grand National Cat Show held at the Horticultural Hall, Boston, October 1894 with the strange juxtaposition of an entertainment feature "Signor Giovanni's Flock of Performing Canary Birds." The charming catalogue/program lists over 200 cats exhibited, including some who performed tricks and stunts, as well as a two-legged and three-legged cat....................Signor Giovanni performed in dime museums throughout the 1880s, and in tandem with the canaries, he also did a musical glasses act.
