Habu first did his act in America in 1921 at the Dreamland Circus Sideshow with an all-star freak cast. He had reportedly performed his "Iron Tongue" act in Europe prior to that, perhaps as early as 1901. In the winter of 1921 he played the World Museum in Philadelphia.
