Compliments of Matthew's Flea Circus

Pitchcard. Two-sided, peach-colored postcard-sized pitchcard with dual photo montage "borrowed" from an earlier Hubert's Museum card with a cartoon of hugging male and female fleas on verso. The location of this flea circus was on the "Nu-Pike" in Long Beach, California. The cartoon with flea poem is also found on a postcard, catalogue #2676, postmarked 1956: "Here's to the happy bounding flea/ I cannot tell HE from SHE/ But they have their fun/ Like you and me/ 'Cause HE can tell/ And so can SHE!"
