CIGARETTE CARD. Great English card from OGDEN'S TABS GENERAL INTEREST series ca. 1901 (#73), showing "Barnum's Giantess"-- "Clara Snell, the largest woman in the world, on show at Barnum's." The Barnum & Bailey Circus along with its sideshow toured Europe for five years, beginning in 1897..........Clara Snell was the largest of three Australian siblings who started exhibiting as Giants and Fat people in 1886. She was purported to be over 6 feet tall and weighed over 550 pounds.
