Ted Warner, RBBBC "Human Picture Gallery"
Unusual, late for this genre of act, 1950's pitchcard in postcard format of this tattoed man, with eyes closed, in front of a RBBBC poster with his name printed on the bottom. Warner appeared in 1952 in Nate Eagle's incarnation of the Ringling-Barnum sideshow, billed as "The Human Picture Gallery," and was reportedly "even decorated inside his mouth." (Billboard, April 19, 1952). On verso: signed in pen "Best Wishes, Ted Warner" printed by "LUMITONE PHOTOPRINT, NEW YORK."
