Wood's Museum Handbill, 1873

This two-sided handbill, features a classic program of an 1870's Dime Museum. Wood's Museum was located at 1221 BROADWAY (and 30TH ST.), in New York City. It featured "Natural Mummies From Mexico," a miniature mechanical Swiss city, a recreation of "Dante's Infernal Regions [of Hell]," "New Illuminated Variegated Fountain," an aquarium, Chinese and Egyptian artifacts, a fortuneteller, and a shooting gallery.
