The Wonderful Sacred Ox Rajah (V.1)

Remarkable, small sized tradecard on green paper, printed with a woodcut of the ox on one side who was "Born with an Arm, Hand and Fingers." Description on verso states that "This remarkable animal will be on exhibition in this City for a few days only." Rajah appeared in Bangor, Maine in October 1877-- see attached ad. See also attached newspaper article dated 1879 from a New Zealand newspaper.
