Robert Huddleston "Pony Boy"

* Top 100 *
Beautiful real photo postcard portrait of this incredible, though little-known performer. Robert Huddleston, who suffered from "Congential Recurvatum Genu" (back-bending knee disorder), displays his flexibility by wrapping his leg over his shoulder while standing on the other three appendages outside of the sideshow tent. He holds wooden blocks in his hands while he walks to protect himself from sharp stones and glass on the carnival lot. On verso: Stamp box: AZO ∆'s up and down.
