Red Hill Went Over Niagara Falls In A Barrel
Printed Photo Postcard features William "Red" Hill in front of his store/museum with great signage, including "See The Barrels That Went Over The Falls." One of many daredevils who survived a journey over the falls in a barrel, and became a minor celebrity and local hero, Hill (November 17, 1888 – May 14, 1942) was based in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He also listed himself on his signage as both a "Lifesaver" and "Navigator," and he justifiably was both during his career. On verso: "R.H. Leslie Limited, Printers. Niagara Falls, Ontario."
