Printed Card. Very rare engraved LOWELL MUSEUM Season Ticket FOR THE YEAR 1842, with cut of elephant, tiger, giraffe, vulture (or eagle)-- and flying over them all, an exotic Queztal bird. On verso: autographed in pen: "Admit D.S. Richardson & Lady, MOSE KIMBALL.".........................Kimball was a close associate of P.T. Barnum, and, after Barnum, the most notable of all Dime Museum impresarios. The Lowell Museum was founded in 1840, and the precursor to Kimball's famed Boston Museum.
