Mademoiselle Gabriele "The Half Lady"

Excellent portrait of this beautiful performer, Gabrielle. This pitchcard piece is from the Kraus Publishing "wood-bordered" series of postcards from Dreamland Circus Sideshow in Coney Island. In this example the "Dreamland" designation is overprinted and blocked out. The overprinting was done no doubt so that the performer could continue to use the cards for other venues.
