Laloo Handbill from 1893 (Two-Sided)

Incredible two-sided handbill from New Eden Musee in Reading, PA featuring Laloo, shown in a woodcut. The proprietor G.W. Middleton is also shown in portrait. As most dime museum handbills displayed and described ALL of the acts then currently appearing, this specimen is an unusual acknowledgement of Laloo's incredible draw. The extensive biography and life story presented on the verso in small type is particularly unusual for handbills of this era.........
