Kick-A-Poo Indian Medicine Show

BOUDOIR CARD. A very rare comprehensive view of a traveling Medicine Show in this oversized cabinet card presents the successful Kick-A-Poo brand patent medicine show featuring four men and little girl dressed in pseudo-Native American garb with four teepees, rustic stage with ventriloquist holding two white dummies with a black dummy behind. Also note the player piano on the stage which provided the music for the show. An additional tent stands to the right of the stage, perhaps for private consultation. On verso in pencil "Kick-a-poo Medicine Show/Rockland, Maine (South End)"
