Jolly Bonita

Printed Photo Postcard. Rare Kraus Publisher's card of Bonita, the famed midget fat girl, one foot on a fur-covered hassock, looking down as she attaches a brooch to the front of her dress. On verso: The postcard is postmarked 1916 from Revere Beach, Massachusetts documenting that this card was most likely sold at the amusement park sideshow in Revere's Wonderland Park. Wonderland was still open and listed as operational in "The NY Clipper" despite online sources saying it was closed in 1909.
