John Williams (A Study for A Banner Painting)

Real Photo Postcard with applied pencil drawing. Incredibly unusual artifact from a banner painter which consists of a postcard with a pencil drawing glued to bottom representing subjects legs and feet, and lines drawn through drawing to prepare for larger rendering, done as a study for the making of a sideshow banner. This was purchased with other items from Kansas and presumed to be part of the banner painter Bellis' archive.
