Effective Danish postcard from Tivoli amusement park in Copenhagen (though postmarked in Belgium) of two turbanned Indian Fakirs, each swallowing a sword. They kneel on a mat outdoors on which there also appear to be turned wooden juggling balls and juggling knives. Printed on front in Danish: "J & G Hagenbeck's Udstilling Syd Indien i 'Tivoli'." ["J & G Hagenbeck's Exhibition South India 'Tivoli'."] Gustav Hagenbeck was the half-brother of Carl Hagenbeck of wild animal and zoo fame. Photo published by "Wilhelm Hoffman, A.G.
