Hubert's Museum Trained Fleas (4 Pages)

This very scarce four-page, folded, single sheet first ever pitchbook for William Heckler at Hubert's has his portrait on its cover pointing to cartooned performing fleas and flea apparatus. This combination of real person and cartooned fleas has a very Fleisher-esque look to it. The format, size, verbiage and blue ink color were copied directly from John C. Ruhl's pitch booklet. Ruhl appeared at Hubert's Museum almost immediately upon the opening of the museum in 1925, proceeding Heckler by almost a full year.
