Great Onondaga Giant

Larger (10"x12") broadside extolling the many dimensions in beautiful typography of what became known as the Cardiff Giant. This advertisement is for a showing of the stone hoax on November 22, 1869 appearing at the Bastable Arcade. The arcade on Warren Street in Syracuse, New York had been completed in 1863 and was destroyed by fire in 1891.
