Freddie Esele at Coney Island

Printed Photo Postcard. Freddie's portrait is captured in a studio where he sits in a great wooden chair, pounding a nail in a block with the hammer held by his foot. He has rubberstamped into the negative the lodge logo for the "Order of The Moose, Utica Lodge." The card was published by "Kraus" and is part of their "Wood-Bordered" series which seems to have been used exclusively for performers who appeared in Coney Island. On verso: Autographed in pencil "Freddie, Age 27, 1917"
