Eden Musee Ticket Seller

Well posed and photographed portrait of a lady ticket seller at this Coney Island landmark wax and dime museum. Eden Musee moved from 55 West 23rd Street in Manhattan to Surf Avenue on Coney Island in 1915. The Eden Musee burned down in March 1928, destroying the wax works, exhibits and famed chess-playing "automaton" Ajeeb.
