The sign is painted on a fence bordering a fairground, and is looked on by a showman (or more probably the sign painter) dresed in "Ice Cream Suit" white. "The Dance Of Death" appears to have been a short-lived enterprise, as no record of La Bella Irene has yet been located. "Secrets of Milady's Budoir [sic] at Midnight and the Sensation Of Five Continents.
