Count Boruwlaski's Ticket
Silk Ticket. (6 × 6 ¼"). Hand-colored print on silk and laid down on paper. Whether this was an actual ticket to a performance, or just a souvenir, is unclear. Either way, it is a spectacular piece of ephemera from the early 18th-Century for perhaps the most important dwarf performer and personality of his age. Another similar silk ticket for Count Boruwlaski is part of The British Museum collection.
