Charles Tripp, Standing With His Topcoat On, 1893
Very rare pose with scallopped edges, by WENDT of Tripp standing in the studio without his props, with his glasses, wearing his topcoat. Clearly a pose made for family and not sold as a souvenir, further evidenced by the card being inscribed to a relative, "Seth H. Tripp." Lower contrast on the face, but otherwise well-preserved image. On verso, autographed in pen: "Charles B. Tripp, Woodstock, Ontario, Age 38 yrs, Seth H. Tripp, July 29, [18]93.
