The Alligator Boy At The Globe Dime Museum
This Globe Dime Museum handbill is curious and has engendered a few questions. First, the handbill is for a traveling version of this well-known dime museum venue, as the bill has a spot to enter a location, i.e. "Will Exhibit at_________________. Filled in in pen it reads "Town Hall Tonight." Was this traveling dime museum even associated with the original Globe Dime Museum in Chicago? Or was this a different, unrelated "store show" version of the Globe Dime Museum? The show also featured an Irish comedian, and a two-headed calf. A.W. Packard Printer, Ellsworth ME.
