The Great Lazlo got his start in sideshow as a conman-- Lady Riggy hired him as a plant while she was busking. He would rush the tip, pad the hat and provide general security. After a few weeks of begging she taught him the human blockhead, glasswalking, glomming, etc: he learned fire eating and breathing from Hell'n Fury. All other acts are self taught-except for being able to wiggle his blockhead nail which was purely a freak accident finding and is still an unexplained phenomenon to this day. They quickly formed The Schadenfreude Circus on a whim to take part in The Burlesque Van Guard tour and then busked around Vermont before taking off with The Palace of Illusions and an Eastern US tour.
