Piebald People, Leopard-Skinned

The skin disease vitalago led performers to bill themselves as “Leopard-Skinned.” There were whole family that suffered from the disease. Performers in this category were mostly of African descent, thus sometimes they were billed as a “Black Man Turning White.”
