William Leonard Hunt (June 10, 1838 – January 17, 1929), also known as The Great Farini, was a 19th- and early 20-Century Canadian funambulist, promoter, showman, and inventor. He was also famous as the first known white man to cross the Kalahari Desert on foot. He is perhaps most famous for introducing Krao Farini, his adopted daughter, and the famed Missing Link to the general public.
