The Torp family-- William "Willy" and Else (and later son John)-- had a well-known Flea Circus at Tivoli Gardens amusement park in Copenhagen, Denmark from 1952 to 1965. It was closed in 1965 "due to a lack of artists." It was replaced by The Mouse City, which itself was discontinued in 1974.
