Miss Rose Foster
Printed Photo Pitchcard. Rose, who had no legs, and a finger sprouting from each of her foreshortened arms, poses on this brownish, cheaply produced pitchcard. The interesting thing is the inscription on the back where Rose is seeking work from a venue. This card was part of the Charlie Lucas Collection, and so it is likely that this card was originally mailed to Hubert's Museum-- in 1930 well before Lucas' tenure-- and kept there, and later collected by Lucas. On verso: "Miracle Museum, 1201 Seventh St., Pittsburgh, PA, 29/10/30.
