Lew Alter

Colonel Llewellyn “Lew” Alter was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania as Llewellyn Thomas Alter (1896-1962). His name is often misspelled Alters. Lew was a well-known sideshow operator from the 1940’s until his death in 1962.
