D.B. Doghouse is the co-founder of ShowHistory.com. Doghouse has been an archivist and writer on sideshow, human oddities, novelty/variety entertainment for over 35 years. Images from his archive have been used by “Ripley’s Believe It or Not!,” “The Guinness Book of World Records,” many film and television documentaries, both in popular and scholarly books, as well as in advertising campaigns for Italian blue jeans and American supercomputers.
He has lectured several times on sideshow at The Coney Island Museum, and is the author of a forth-coming illustrated compendium covering the business of exhibiting human and animal oddities from 1580-1980. A version for the Kindle is not planned.
