MIDDLETOWN, N.Y., May 1. -- James H. Wallick, formerly a well-known actor, shot and instantly killed himself in a bathroom at the Commercial Hotel in this city at 9 o'clock this morning. Illness and despondency over financial matters are believed to have caused the act. He had made and lost several fortunes in the theatrical business."
