William H. Decoursey was born in 1851 in Norwalk, Connecticut, not San Francisco as sometimes stated. He was know by either his middlename Harry, or by the nickname Denny. Decoursey worked the Barnum & Bailey sideshow in 1882. He died November 1, 1903, and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetary in Bronx, NY.
