Born with normal arms and legs but no hands or feet, Berniece "Bea" Griffin worked as a schoolteacher during the school year and spent the summer months touring with Ray Marsh Brydon and Harry Leonard in the 1940s and Hall & Christ shows in the 1950s. She is featured in Ward Hall's 1991 book My Very Unusual Friends. (Thanks to Elizabeth Anderson)
