Jean and Inez are best known as spokespeople for The Woodward Candy Company in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Both had a previous career in vaudeville, and met when they were both performing in Coney Island.

Jean Louis Bregant stood 45” tall and Inez about 42” tall. Some sources say that Jean previously appeared in Europe under the name Prince Colibri.
