This obscure performer, severely deformed, perhaps born with spina-bifida, is only known from one real photo postcard portrait, a few later poorly printed pitchcards, and a rare image of his showfront (see catalogue #3025). One autographed copy of his real photo postcard is dated (in another hand) 1918, which matches up with the style of the postcard's back. Another printed pitchcard seen online, in addition to his signature, also has written in pencil "age 39, weight 29 1/2" written on the verso.
