Fricke Flea Theatre shown here on the boardwalk, at “New Chutes Park” in San Francisco. Fricke also appeared with a similar show and showfront in Coney Island. The Chutes, described as the “largest pleasure resort in America” were at at Fulton and 10th from 1902-1907. Finding the grounds too small to accommodate the large crowds, “new chutes” opened on Fulton at 10th Ave. in 1902.
