The Torp's "Loppe Cirkus" Flea Circus (6 Cards)

Printed Postcard Folder. Willy and Else Torp were Danish flea circus impresarios. This six card series, attached and perforated, were printed on heavy glossy stock, from Tivoli Gardens (amusement park) in Copenhagen where their show ran from 1952-1965. The first card shows a fanciful cartoon group of fleas heading into a circus tent with a LOPPE [FLEA] CIRKUS sign. The other 5 cards show actual fleas leashed to flea paraphanalia.
