Kohl & Middleton's Grand Bird Exhibition

Trade Card. Beautiful, yet very odd card with color litho on front of fuzzy yellow bird holding a twig with pine cones, bursting through a paper kite. The verso of this card has much ad copy for the GRAND BIRD EXHIBITION, inviting the public to bring their pet birds ("Fancy Pigeons, &c., &c.") to the dime museum to be on exhibit.
