DIGESTO, The Human Ostrich

This hand-painted showcard for Digesto is from Hubert's Museum in New York. While the performers real name is unknown, the act is one that was performed by many different people, and was a staple of the sideshow. "EATS Glass, Tacks, Razor Blades." The style of this beautifully rendered show card dates it to the 1940's or 50's, though could be as late as 60's. Blue card stock hand-painted with yellow, red and white letters.
