An incredible view of the Barnum and Bailey sideshow banner line, probably from about 1898. The banner for Zip says “Zip and Ben,” a comedy boxing act that Zip and Ashbury Benjamin “The Leopard Boy” performed to great success beginning in the early-1880’s. The photo also shows an “Expansionist” act and “Lolu” a snake enchantress.
